Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Full-Time Chef to join our team at Hobson Rosebud. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers. From crafting daily specials to maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, you will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for excellence in dining.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Develop creative and seasonal menu offerings in collaboration with management
• Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure freshness
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold quality and efficiency in food preparation
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting, as well as independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
