The Company:
Fresh Food Industries is a wholly owned subsidiary of FFI Holdings Limited, an ASX listed Company based in Cockburn Central, W.A. We manufacture a diverse range of food products and ingredients for the Australian Food Industry.
The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Customer Service team member. This role will include you in our small but mighty team who are responsible for handling the logistics process, accurately entering customer orders and ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Produce relevant paperwork for dispatch and invoicing of customer orders.
- Monitoring and coordinating deliveries with transport companies to all states and territories within Australia.
- Providing high-standard CUSTOMER SERVICE, communicating clearly and in a timely manner with customers.
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls and taking messages.
- Managing or escalating concerns including order amendments, MOQs, pricing, product availability, and lead times.
- Effectively communicate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales teams to exceed customers’ service expectations.
- General administrative duties to assist the Finance, Sales, Administration, and Operations teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in LOGISTICS AND order entry procedures.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in logistics, order entry, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be confident in working independently, flexible in changing priorities quickly and being an impressive team player.
- Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour showing urgency in responding to customer requests.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order management systems/software preferred.
- Experience using IT systems is highly regarded but not essential as full training will be provided, including accounts software, EDI, AND CUSTOMER portals.
