This global manufacturing company based close to Macquarie Park is searching for a new Group Finance ManagerYour new company Our client is an Australian multinational company, with operations in Australia, New Zealand, North America, UK and Europe. They turn over $150 million + per year in revenue.
Working from their Sydney Head Office, they are seeking an experienced, energetic, and committed Group Finance Manager to focus on their consolidation and reporting for the group. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and operates within a Sydney-based finance team. Your new role
Your role is central to the Group finance function and covers both the preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statement and the preparation of the Group's Australian statutory accounts. Your key responsibilities will include: Monthly Group consolidation (including overseas subsidiaries in foreign currencies) Monthly Group financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) Business performance and KPI's preparation and analysis Annual Group budgeting and periodic reforecasting, including overseas subsidiaries and head office Supporting annual overseas subsidiary audits Annual ASIC statutory reporting in Australia in relation with external Tax accountants Periodic Tax preparation and lodgement (BAS, PAYG, FBT, etc.) Driving Group wide financial reporting improvements through process automation and optimisation Junior team members' leadership What you'll need to succeed Experience in a similar management accounting role within a complex international group Exposure to foreign currencies and overseas subsidiary consolidation Excellent communication skills Strong computer skills in a major ERP and BI software, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel A hands-on reporting and analysis approach with attention to detail to be able to deliver reports timely and with high standard Ability to meet monthly reporting deadlines and manage priorities Tertiary qualifications in accounting along with CA/CPA qualification
