Situated on the picturesque Swan River the Tradewinds Hotel is an iconic venue in East Fremantle, a stone’s throw from the vibrant streets of Fremantle. We are currently recruiting for a Head Bartender - Beverage Manager.
This fulltime role oversees bar operations and bartenders to ensure that they provide positive customer experiences and assist with the smooth running of the bar.
Responsibilities:
- Shake, mix, stir, blend - prepare and serve cocktails while you are having fun
- Build and manage our beverage list in the bar, in the restaurant, in functions
- Understand local and international wines, beers and love them
- Aim to be the best, serving the latest drinks, leading the market with innovative ideas
- Customers are your top priority, your drive is to exceed expectations
- Manage the bar and the floor teams on daily basis, have fun training them
- Rotate stock, drive beverage promotions, maintain your COGS
- Manage compliance with food and beverage with applicable licensing-, hygiene policies and procedures.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar position in a busy cocktail bar; high end pub or restaurant
- You have extensive beverage knowledge
- You are passionate about exceptional customer service
- You enjoy beings hands on and working alongside your team
- Current Approved Manager Licence ( preferred)
- Valid RSA ( essential)
- Immediate start
- Must have Australian working rights
