As part of this national growth strategy, the Founders and leadership team eagerly seek the appointment of a proactive, commercial and hands on Head of People & Culture Manager.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO, your broad leadership role will be responsible for managing all functions of HR across the group, specifically integrating consistent policies, procedures and most importantly behaviours through all layers of the enterprise. You will drive a holistic People & Culture business plan integrating into the broader strategic plan and company plan for growth.
As a trusted advisor to the leadership team, you will work with the Head of Growth around key recruitment onboarding, and be the subject matter expert around issues such as optimising employee engagement, enhancing positive workplace culture, talent acquisition & retention, performance management and succession planning, remuneration structures, learning and development, performance development plans and OHS.
Strategically this pivotal role will encompass future-state planning as the organisation grows rapidly over the coming years and will be heavily hands-on, delivering to the business needs as they evolve through its extensive growth plan. As such, each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to use your experience to positively impact the business.
Key focus areas will include:
Leadership
- In person engagement with current and prospective team members at existing and new locations. You will lead management workshops.
- Development of a "People Plan" to be integrated into the broader strategic plan, formulating the P&C strategy including identifying and promoting P&C initiatives, ensuring everything is up to date, compliant, and the team engaged.
- Drive consistency with respect to multi-site management with plans to expand to a significant national footprint.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Develop the talent acquisition programme and ensure all recruitment processes are followed by internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and constantly review the EVP to attract and retain talent
- Develop successful onboarding procedures and implement a consistent and rigorous onboarding program for new hires
Performance Management & Succession Planning
- Develop bespoke Performance Management plans, including succession planning and training and development
- Develop and oversee learning and development by:
- Assisting managers with training needs analysis
- Developing training plans
- Refine and manage the annual review process
HRIS Management
- Lead the Integration of the newly implemented HRIS system
Culture & Engagement
- This is a dynamic environment built by and for people who want to grow and lead in a workplace that holds no limits on their potential.
- Driving the workplace culture, you will implement and promote HR best practices and deliver advice and mentorship to line managers across the business and as necessary, conduct targeted workshops with key employee groups
Your Profile
An accomplished HR / People & Culture leader, you will have extensive HR generalist experience, ideally within the Services, Retail, Health Services or a multi-site business environment.
You will bring insightful and contextual recommendations to enhance HR policies and procedures, focussing on providing the best possible advice aligned with best practice "fit for purpose" HR policies, procedures and legal requirements.
You will be commercial with a customer-centric focus, with an ability to collaborate and influence. Your driven, hands-on style will be critical to success as you support the organisation into its next phase of growth. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to take initiative in your work.
