About the role
As the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be responsible for the strategic direction of the People & Culture function, looking after projects, and also be hands on, working with the team to run our HR calendar of activities and support the team as a coach and reviewer of work.
Your main responsibility will be to nurture a positive work environment and manage the full spectrum of HR, looking after talent acquisition and employee development, the smooth onboarding of new BlueRockers, and supporting our leadership and Board execute their vision and strategy.

Our Operations team supports our advisory divisions to make our BlueRock employees' lives easier. Our Operations team comprises finance, People & Culture, marketing and IT professionals. We are pioneers of innovation and are always on the lookout for ways to improve processes so our teams can get back to the important stuff, supporting our clients.
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on leader who can bring innovative ideas and solutions to the table. A genuine passion for people and culture, coupled with strong business acumen, will be the key to excel in this role.

What you’ll be doing
- Setting the People & Culture strategy with the Board and leadership group, working to identify projects and initiatives to grow our culture and develop our people
- With the support of our TA team, leading talent acquisition efforts to attract top-tier professionals
- Effectively deliver all operational elements of the employee lifecycle
- Providing expert analysis of HR metrics to the leadership team, including recommendations of actions or initiatives to address areas of concern
- Participating in various HR related and business projects as required including the development of strategy documents, review and implementation of new HR systems, and implementation of new processes and projects
We want to hear from people who have:
- 7+ years’ experience in the People & Culture world
- Top notch employment law awareness and knowledge of the Australia ER landscape
- A degree or relevant qualification in HR Management
- Incredible stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- A track record of implementing innovative HR initiatives and driving cultural change
