HEALTH & SAFETY LEADERSHIP PARTNER – MANUFACTURING

18 MONTH CONTRACT WITH VIEW TO PERMANENT

The Health & Safety Leadership Partner role partners with their Australian Leadership Teams, offering subject matter expertise, support and leadership gained through comprehensive analysis, best practice research and innovation and external benchmarking. This role leads and supports key programs of work within the to support of our the continual improvement and innovation journey. This exciting opportunity is on an initial 18 month fixed term contract with a view to becoming a permanent fixture in our team.

What will you be doing?

  • Be an key member of the Australian Safety Leadership Team and contribute to the development and implementation of our Australian Health & Safety strategy, through the delivery of CCEP’s strategic business and safety priorities.
  • Lead the implementation of the Health & Safety framework, tools, processes and reporting, ensuring effective implementation, change management governance accross our manufacturing operations.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on manufacturing safety, critical risk controls and innovative safety practices such as Human & Organisational Performance.
  • Build key capability in our operations by developing resources and delivering key training,
  • Assist to develop,  and review policies, procedures and frameworks to support and drive forward safety priorities..
  • Partner across CCEP sales and supply chain stakeholders to plan for, respond to and solve critical safety issues and incidents as they occur.
  • Support our senior leaders in their Safety Leadership through building capability, reporting and governance.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships across CCEP teams and external stakeholders, , anticipating stakeholder needs upstream and downstream, providing effective communication, insight and proactive escalation on issues or incidents.
  • Lead, mentor and coach others to create an environment where our people can thrive, build the expertise of the team and contribute to team engagement.
  • Seek out industry best practice within areas of expertise to help raise capability within the team and leverage new thinking in partnership with the Head of Health & Safety.
  • Engage regularly at a senior level to share knowledge and information, collaborate on initiatives, review plans and performance metrics in pursuit of improved safety outcomes.

Let’s talk about you…

  • Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to Safety / FMCG / Supply Chain / Business or Commerce.
  • Knowledge and experience of applying Human Factors (e.g. HOP, New View Safety) in operations.
  • Prior experience in a Health & Safety Leadership role within a Manufacturing/Operations environment
  • Experience of diagnosing, analysing and formulating Health & Safety solutions.
  • Proven relationship management experience in particular working collaboratively and cross functionally, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence and be an effective communicator and facilitator with the ability to ‘tell a story’ with data and insights and make the complex and technical simple.
  • Proven ability to safely drive business outcomes and manage complex people / process change.
