The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Commercial Fabricator / Welder to join the team at Recar Brisbane, Acacia Ridge!
You'll be part of our dynamic smash repair facility, using your skills to shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors, contributing to the future of automotive excellence.
Role responsibilities- Assess the vehicle’s damage to determine how to perform the repair work
- Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained & used appropriately
- Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate
- Co-ordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed
- Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
- Treat company equipment with the same respect for your own tools
- Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met

- Mechanical knowledge to assist in repair and fabrication of trailers
