- Located in, Mary Street Brisbane QLD
- 15 April starts until 13 September 2024 assignment with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements
About the role
As HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing timely, accurate, and professional HR advice, guidance, and support to RIDO, contributing directly to the enhancement of Queensland's transportation infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.
- Develop and update role descriptions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Apply HR policies and frameworks to achieve business outcomes.
- Prepare HR-related correspondence, briefs, reports, and resource requests to a high standard.
- Support the Principal HR Advisor to build and mature HR service delivery across the branch.
About You
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Excellent communication skills to deliver advice and information clearly and succinctly.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with people.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with government writing styles is highly desirable.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
- Be able to pass and hold national police check.
