- AO4 - $54 + - AO5 $62 + p/h + super
- Located in, Berrinba, Brisbane Queensland
- Up to 6 months temporary assignment, possibility of antimension pending business and performance requirements.
About the roles
As an AO4 HR Advisor, you'll play a vital role in managing recruitment processes and ensuring our workforce is equipped. If you're organised and detail-oriented, this role is perfect for you.
As an A05 HR Advisor, you'll provide crucial advice and support on a wide range of HR issues, from complaints management to policy interpretation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to promoting positive workplace practices.
A04 HR Advisor - Workforce Planning
- Coordinate a high volume of recruitment and selection activities for a diverse staffing mix, including permanent and temporary employees and contingent labor.
- Manage job advertisements via QLD Government request to hire platform, intranet updates, and role description templates.
- Contact and schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates and assist in scribing during shortlisting moderation and panel interviews.
- Conduct pre-employment checks such as referee checks and driver's license verifications.
- Finalise recruitment processes in Springboard and ensure accurate documentation for payroll processing.
- Maintain updated organisational charts and establishment spreadsheets.
- Handle onboarding functions, including providing necessary paperwork to new starters and arranging system accesses.
- Monitor and manage emails received in a generic inbox, assigning tasks to relevant employees or providing necessary advice.
- Produce reports from departmental systems to support decision-making processes.
A05 HR Advisor - Operational
- Provide practical advice to internal clients on HR management issues, including interpretation of legislation and policies.
- Support the Principal HR Officer in managing employee complaints, grievances, conduct, and performance matters.
- Produce reports and provide recommendations for best practice HR management.
- Advise leaders on HR issues, balancing employee and organisational interests.
- Prepare correspondence and documentation on various HR issues for internal and external stakeholders.
About You
To thrive in the A04 role, you need:
- Experience in completing scribing and minute-taking functions, with the ability to record detailed notes during discussions.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Must have full Australian working rights.
- Be able to pass and maintain a clear police check.
To thrive in the A05 role, you need:
- As above requirements +
- Extensive HR experience in a large multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industrial Acts, Awards, and frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
