About the Role:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing essential HR projects within specified timelines. Under the strategic guidance of the Director HR & Administration (Oceania), your responsibilities will extend to serving as a change agent and actively support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in managing and implementing people and transformation strategies throughout the organisation via various projects. Additionally, you'll oversee the implementation and review of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across all Oceania business units.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support in crafting a long term Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) strategy for the region & initiatives across the region in conjunction with Director HR & HRBP team
  • In conjunction with the HRBP team, review and update HR policies for Oceania, staff communication plan to increase awareness on existing policies
  • Responsible for developing and implementing project plan for creation of an Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create an employee ambassador group and various focus groups to collect information and collaborate on an EVP
  • Analyse existing process & integrating through a common platform to create a positive experience for new starters using available tools and technology
  • Organise and execute staff engagement activities based on the annual / monthly engagement calendar along with and in conjunction with HRBP team and OH&S manager
  • In conjunction with the HRBP team, assist in reporting requirements as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, OD, Psychology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • A high level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office (including advanced level skills in Excel and Outlook).
  • Proven experience in managing change
  • Proven ability in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • An understanding of relevant Victorian Employment legislation would be advantageous
