Hse Advisor

To support our continual growth, we are searching for a HSE Safety Advisor to join our safety team. This position will be a FIFO role with various roster option available for the right candidate from Perth covering all sites that Minprovise operate on.Minprovise is a total solutions provider offering specialist services and products supporting the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure & construction industries. This includes the supply of onsite maintenance & repairs, shutdowns, project services, access services, fabrication, offsite repairs, remedial services and mineral processing equipment & products. At Minprovise our vision is to provide innovative solutions in partnership with our clients.About the opportunityReporting to the HSE Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure the compliance of company and site policies and procedures and establishing a safe place of work.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting inspections and internal safety audits
• Checking that work procedures are compliant with the Australian Standard
• Creating and digitally distributing safety alerts and bulletins
• Assisting with JHAs, pre-start and toolbox meetings
• Identifying and controlling hazards, injury prevention and promoting a safe working environment
• Providing a valuable resource for site leadership in relation to all aspect of health & Safety

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (Desirable)
• Prior mine site experience is advantageous.
• Senior First Aid certificate
• Exceptional verbal, and written communication skills
• White Card essential
