About You
- Seeking an experienced individual who has a number of years (5+) in a similar role and qualifications in a related discipline as well as the following attributes;
- Has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of a generalist HR function, preferably gained within the FMCG industry or similar fast paced environment in a small to medium sized organisation
- Has an understanding of theoretical and practical application of generalist HR and cultural change initiatives
- Can partner strongly and effectively with existing leaders and staff alike in the provision of highly pragmatic people solutions
- Possesses sound stakeholder and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence senior executives and leaders alike
- Champions the organisational values and supports the cultural change agenda and can effectively broker both organisational and individual needs to meet overall company goals
- Possess sufficient commercial and analytical ability to create robust business cases for various HR programs, identifying trends and issues in people data that support the effective planning and management of Monster Group people
- Is committed to providing highly responsive advices and support via streamlining of services, best practice and modernisation of the HR function
- Possess high personal credibility and capacity to act as trusted internal advisor to all
- Resilient and possessing organizational / political savvy
High level support, influencing, persuading skills to build capability of Department Managers in all aspects of people leadership and management
What you will be doing
The key duties and responsibilities for the position of this position are as follows:
- Positioning the HR function as a key enabler of the business, with a focus on building trust and empowering staff and leaders
- A key focus will be driving improvements across the employment lifecycle and creating consistency as the business grows
- Focus on the provision of highly pragmatic support for Department Managers in all people management issues including attraction and recruitment, employment law, performance management, diversity and inclusion and overall engagement and retention strategies
- Human resource planning to ensure Human Resources are aligned to long term business needs and also occasional short-term project deliverables
- Working regularly and consistently with Departmental Managers to address relevant HR issues
- Develop a compelling talent attraction, selection and retention (EVP) program via talent acquisition, management and development, coupled with support and co-ordination of talent strategies and programs
- Develop a best practice on-boarding and induction process to ensure superior employee experience and retention while streamlining speed to productive up time for new recruit
- Re-design existing Performance Management system in line with best practice, implementing relevant changes and educating Managers and moving the performance management process away from 12 monthly reviews towards regular performance coaching conversation
- Champion and embed the Monster Group company values across the business
- Development and execution of employee engagement activities in line with best practice
- Create, influence and nurture emerging company culture
- Compliance, policies and procedures
- Retrenchment, redundancies and resignations as required
