Strandline is seeking an experienced HR professional to become our new Human Resources Manager. Our people are central to everything that we do, and this role is integral to leading end-to-end Human Resources activities to support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and is based out of Strandline’s Head Office in the Perth CBD.
The role:
- Lead HR strategy and operational activities across Human Resources and employee relations. Including recruitment, performance management, learning and development, remuneration and benefits, compliance, organisational design, diversity, and culture.
- Manage a small and agile HR team to provide trusted and responsive advice and solutions.
- Partner with organisational leaders and teams to develop and implement initiatives to achieve strategic and operational objectives and targets.
- Develop and implement effective candidate sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and retention programs.
- Provide guidance regarding remuneration and reward levels, including market benchmarking and remuneration reviews.
- Provide advice and coaching to leaders on employee relations matters, such as performance management, disciplinary procedures, resolution of disputes, conflicts and other employee situations that may arise.
- Work with leaders and the Safety team to provide advice and support injured workers.
- Develop and deliver workplace training programs.
- Develop strategies to embed an inclusive, diverse, and high-performing culture underpinned by the values of integrity, trust, courage, respect, and performance excellence.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
- Mining experience (beneficial, but not required)
- You will have hands on experience in leading an HR function or HR team. Including developing and implementing HR systems, processes, and frameworks.
- You will enjoy both strategic initiatives and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day HR operational activities.
- A good working knowledge of relevant workplace legislation.
- A team player with effective communication across all levels of the business.
- A willingness to travel to site as required. Our Coburn site is located in the Shire of Shark Bay WA.
