The Role
Be at the forefront of developing the Support System for the Royal Australian Navy's state-of-the-art Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV), a successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplined and skilled Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) team, driving optimal Support solutions integrated across ILS functions and engineering design. At Luerssen you'll be using the latest technology coupled with your knowledge & experience to develop and evolve either Maintenance Support and/or Supply Support artefacts.
The ideal candidate would have an interest in developing Supply Support logistic artefacts, i.e. developing Assembly Parts Lists (APL), Codification of items to NATA standards, rationalising Spare Parts items for maintenance tasks and ship department provisioning, data development and procurement. The candidate would ideally have experience/awareness with related software applications e.g. APLCRATES, MC Catalogue (NATO Parts Codification), MILIS & NAVALLOW; or has the aptitude to become skilled at the use of such applications.

Responsibilities
Developand Maintain Assembly Parts Lists (APL) using APLCRATES
- Process NATO spares item codification
- Querying spare part information utilise inventory logistic information systems (MILIS & NAVALLOW)
- Populate and maintain Logistic Support Analysis data in accordance with established processes.
- Review sub-contractor, OEM / Supplier data for accuracy, safety and consistency.
- Participate in progress review meetings.
- Assist in the compilation of reporting.
- Support across various ILS functions
- Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine repair strategy of equipment
- Develop preventive and corrective spare parts, consumables and support & test equipment (S&TE) recommendations and related logistic data
- Rationalise spare parts quantities, consumables and S&TE
- Maintain Onboard Allowance Lists (OAL)
