The Opportunity:
Joining the National Injury Management Team, supporting our NSW Self Insurance Program, your primary objective is to respond to workplace injuries, provide care and support to our people, and facilitate claims management.
Sydney based, with some state travel, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the first response to injury, including treatment, rehabilitation and return to work
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with injured employees, medical providers and insurers
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with internal stakeholders
- Engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure best practice Injury Management outcomes are achieved in a commercially sustainable manner
- Day to day administration including claim lodgments, payroll, development of return to work plans and system maintenance
- Comply with Self Insurance process and procedures
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Superior organisational, analytical and administration skills
- NSW Return to Work certification
- Desirable : 2 years’ experience in Injury Management, rehabilitation and/ or claims management a minimum. Self-Insurance experience a bonus!
- Driver’s License and own vehicle
- Strong Microsoft Office and Administration experience
- Policy, Process, and Procedure driven
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to multi-task
- Goal oriented
- Keep a strong focus on confidentiality, objectives and details
- You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team with effective time management capability
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to our business
- You will be required to travel between offices, client sites and medical appointments as required
- A strong focus on health and safety at all times.
