Inside Sales Specialist, ANZ (Based in Melbourne)
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Global Operations team as an Inside Sales Specialist (onsite) Based in Victoria, Melbourne.
This role reports directly to the Head of Sales, ANZ (based in Melbourne), and works closely with the commercial team, Customer Service, Technical and Category Managers and our partners in the Global Operations team (i.e. quality and manufacturing).
Key Responsibilities
This role will have the following accountabilities:
- To achieve the annual sales plan of volume, price, and profit of agreed customers
- Establish and maintain good relationships with existing customers. Conduct negotiations to achieve agreed planned volume, price targets etc.
- Constantly evaluate new business opportunities within the current customer list.
- Provide liaison between customer and other support services eg CA, Regulatory etc. to ensure all customer interaction occurs efficiently and promptly.
- Update forecast in OMP for customers in the area of responsibility.
- Complete reports and administration requirements including project lists and Salesforce.com promptly.
- Be knowledgeable about the T&L range of products, pricing, availability, features and benefits (especially compared with key competitors).
- Keep CDP contracts / Amendment Letters up to date, where applicable.
- Complete SAP contracts for the ANZ team.
- Provide sales support to Account managers, where applicable.
- Bi-weekly SFDC Scorecard Reporting for ANZ Region.
- Monthly SFDC / GSS Report generation/review, created for the whole ASEANI region, reviewed only for the ANZ Region.
- Monthly SAP Contract Closures for ANZ Region.
- Monthly SAP Price Compliance Checks and Reporting for ANZ Region.
- Quarterly CDP Reporting for ANZ Region.
- Quarterly Contract Balance Review for ANZ Region.
About You
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

Key Personal attributes
- Strong personality – able to build rapport with customers, whilst being able to successfully negotiate pricing for a favourable outcome for T&L and the long-term business relationship.
- Clear voice over the phone
- Self-starter can work within a team and/or independently and make decisions within the given framework and T&L boundaries.
- Stress resistance and resilience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales support function or handled sales within the food ingredient industry is a big plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in operating Salesforce.com (SFDC) and SAP modules.
- Possess strong communication skills.
