We are looking for Integrated Logistics officers, specialists, practitioners, managers, loggies within our Electronic Warfare team… any level of experience we want to speak to you.
We are experiencing some amazing growth within our electronic warfare team and are looking to hire people who understand that the fundamental objective of ILS is to provide life cycle support. To achieve this objective, a disciplined process must be followed where design engineering, logistics engineering, and planning, programming, and budgeting activities are effectively integrated. Actual integration of logistics considerations into acquisitions requires the combined efforts of the design community, acquisition Program Managers, and those organisations responsible for formulating and executing the budget.
The EWIS Branch sits within the Joint Systems Division which is responsible for acquiring and supporting electronic systems in the areas of electronic warfare, communications and command support, satellites and tactical interoperability, guided weapons and surveillance and control systems.

- ILS, or Integrated Logistics Support, is a critical role in defence. ILS specialists are responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of logistics support, from acquisition and fielding to sustainment and disposal.
- ILS plays a vital role in ensuring that military equipment is ready and available when needed, and that it remains operationally effective throughout its lifespan.
- A strong understanding of the principles of ILS is essential.
- Development of ILS plans including Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Supportability Strategy
- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is a vital part of maintaining military readiness by ensuring that equipment is ready and available when needed while also overseeing its operational effectiveness throughout its lifespan.
- Experience in acquisition and/or sustainment projects
- Experience in Defence contracting using ASDEFCON principles
- Understanding of Support System Support resources and requirements
- Understanding of Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) concepts
- Experience using MILIS or SAP
- Knowledge of Technical Publication Standards
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain an AGSVA Clearance
- Good communication and liaising skills
- Be a clear communicator both written and verbal
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude
