Job DescriptionResponsibilities:- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members.
- Performance Management: Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development planning.
- HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, including contracts, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
- HR Reporting: Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
The Successful ApplicantRequirements:- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior HR advisory role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; HR certification
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions.
- Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
