About the Role
The Internal Communications Coordinator will support and execute the delivery of internal communication plans and initiatives in relation to key projects while providing support across faculty and Chancellery portfolios on internal communication programs and channels.

This role will contribute to executing internal communication outputs across channels including, but are not limited to, the intranet (i.e. Staff Hub), newsletters (i.e. Staff News) and other digital communication (i.e. Viva Engage). Additionally, the role will contribute to the optimisation of internal communication channels for all University staff.

The role will also be required to proactively identify and execute content and storytelling opportunities, produce content with both written and multimedia components, while contributing to integrated planning across internal communication channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of internal communication plans and initiatives in relation to key projects while providing support across faculty and Chancellery portfolios on internal communication programs and channels.
  • Executing internal communication outputs across channels including, but not limited to, the intranet (i.e. Staff Hub), newsletters (i.e. Staff News) and other digital communication (i.e. Viva Engage).
  • Ensure the University’s Internal Communications channels are kept up-to-date with the latest information and advice, while supporting additional Internal Communications activities as part of the Strategic Communications team.
  • Identify and execute content and storytelling opportunities, produce content with both written and multimedia components, while contributing to integrated planning across internal communication channels.

You will also have:

  • High level experience within relevant communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline 
  • Demonstrated production of strategic communications within a medium to large and complex organisation.
  • Mid-level experience in complex decision making requiring high levels of expertise and judgement.
