Your Opportunity
As the International Admissions Support Officer you will be responsible for:
- Providing a variety of administrative support across TAFE Queensland International Education in addition to handling enquiries from and providing information to prospective international students
This is a Permanent full time opportunity.
The position will be based primarily at South Bank Campus however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
- Respond promptly and effectively to verbal and written enquiries related to international student applications, enrolments, and other general enquiries in accordance with documented procedures and legislation.
- Review all documents to ensure they meet admissions criteria and are submitted in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the relevant allocation team to transmit daily reports accurately and promptly for further processing.
- Efficiently enter applicant information into various admissions systems, maintaining accuracy and consistency in data management
- Provide administrative support for the daily Overseas Student Health Cover Schedule
- Ensure day-to-day activities align with business operations, and actively contribute to the improvement of business processes and practices.
- Undertake any other directed tasks to support the work unit and contribute to the overall success of TAFE Queensland's International Education.
- Utilise a range of software packages and web based technologies and office equipment to provide a responsive and efficient administrative service to TAFE Queensland International Education.

- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, to work within agreed priorities and timeframes independently and to provide a customer service that is responsive to client needs
- Ability to prepare written correspondence and records using clear communications.
- Ability to utilise computer software packages and web-based technologies in a professional setting and operate a wide range of office equipment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in office administration plus a clear willingness to assist team members in the completion of their work and to conduct any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
