Industrial Power Transmission (IPT) products specifically refer to belts, sprockets, equipment, and solutions.
We are searching for a talented Technical Sales Administrator - IPT. The person we want is genuinely eager to learn about technical matters related to Power Transmission and applications, possess excellent communication skills, and is proficient in developing technical recommendations.
This is an individual contributor (leader of self) role, reporting to the Product Manager for IPT. The role is based in Dandenong South, Victoria.
The role includes a rewarding sales incentive program (sales bonus).
THE ROLE
In addition to the Product Manager-IPT, the Technical Sales Administrator works closely, too, with internal customer service staff and Sales Representatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Sales Support: Provides Technical Sales support, assists in gathering technical information, and prepares sales materials for internal and external use.
- Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Provides quotations and product information to internal and external customers on made to order and non-standard items.
- Documentation and Reports: maintains organized records of sales related documents, including quotations, proposals, and internal correspondence and updates. and manages internal systems and databases.
- Regularly communicates updated application data and product information to customers, the field sales team, and customer service team.
- Sales coordination and communication: facilitates communication and coordination between the sales team and other internal departments. Collaborates with various teams to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Continuous improvement: stays up to date with product and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested.
