Job Summary:
The IT support person is responsible for overseeing IT systems and assetsproviding assistance with upgrades and fixes, and offering training and support as required.
This role requires a deep understanding of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and current industry trends.
You have to be able to resolve IT support requests from employees, change configurations, settings and permissions to fix IT issues, and log all service requests and updating tickets as needed.
You also need to be able to communicate to Client HQ overseas and external local or global vendors, especially the network service providers.
Roles & Responsibilitie
IT Maintenance
- Provision and discard of IT Equipment
- IT Equipment and User Support
- Apply PC plus exemptions and troubleshooting
- Install and maintain Security software (e.g. PCplus,Symantec)
- Manage Exit Employee Process ( e.g. Exit Employee Log,EDE,Backup)
- External Network management
- Check Vaccine Status
- Check PC plus status
- Check Share folders
- Support Ubcube and Cloud
- Support Cloud PC and Catoz request
- Manage data and SIP network
- Manage PABX systems (Avaya)
- Maintaining and manage servers (e.g. AD,VM, Symantec, Print servers etc) with HQ and local providers
- EP mail support
- Manage print services and printing security
- Manage printer servers
- Set up routers, backbone switches , L2 Switches , accelerator with HQ
- SD-WAN support
- Manage Wifi controller and WAP
- Manage and support emails
Admin duties
- Purchase IT related consumables, services and equipment (e.g. notebook, routers, video conference, routers, PABX) via GP, EPS, EVS and ITMS
- Accruals of IT relates accounts with finance Dept.
- Payment process (ITMS, EVS , EPS : e.g. Telecommunication, Data network, Printer, team viewer etc)
- Manage all Client domains with HQ and marketing dept.
- Manage IT equipment fixed asset
Education
- TAFE/ Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience
About You
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong understanding of all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Window 10, Office 2010,2013,2016 ) and server products (VM, AD, MS server 2019, etc)
- Fluency in English is mandatory both spoken and written.
- Solid knowledge of networking technology and communication protocol
- Management of IT assets
- Printing solution experience
- Proven ability to priorities work and meet deadline.
- Outstanding customer service skills and demonstrated ability to deliver solutions.
- Time Management and Multi-Tasking.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and with limited supervision.
