The Role
This is a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and begin your career in IT.
As our IT Support Officer, you will:
- Be the main point of contact for all IT incidents & requests
- Address the day-to-day IT support needs of end users by providing exceptional support for incident, service request, and problem management
- Attend to end user requests by phone, walk ups, and online ticketing systems
- Administer our IT systems (cloud & on-premises) and perform daily administrative tasks to ensure performance and continuance of services
- Configure, deploy and support IT equipment both on-site and remotely
- Work closely with senior IT staff to assist with project work when required
- Maintain an accurate IT Asset register
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical IT support and customer facing role
- Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows OS, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Active Directory technologies
- In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software
- Great understanding of networking and be comfortable with administering networks, switches, firewalls and associated technologies
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- The candidate will reside in the Southwest or be prepared to relocate at own expense.
