Form of workRare and exciting mining career opportunity! Our client is currently seeking a IT Systems / Network Administrator for an immediate start. To be considered the successful applicant must have accommodation and live within commuting distance of Collie, Western Australia.
About the Role:
This role is well-suited to an experienced IT Specialist with mining (or equivalent/transferable) experience who is based (or willing to relocate) within commuting distance of Collie, WA. Your duties may include (but are not limited to);
- Supporting end users with IT hardware & software issues
- Supporting Windows 10 workstations in a Microsoft Azure Directory Hybrid environment
- Supporting Microsoft 365, including user account administration & Microsoft Office application support
- Experience with Microsoft 365 endpoint management (intune)
- Configuring and maintaining HPE server/SAN hardware and Veeam backups
- Configuring and maintaining Microsoft server operating systems and applications, including Windows Server 2012-2016, Microsoft Hyper-V clusters, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server
- Supporting Microsoft SharePoint Online & Microsoft Teams
- Applying best-practice security principles
- Configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, including experience with HPE/Aruba and Fortinet LAN/WAN devices such as network switches, wireless access points, routers and firewalls.
Successful Applicants Will Hold:
- Currently residing within commuting distance of Collie, WA. Relocation to Collie/Bunbury areas from within WA will be considered.
- Prior experience in a similar role (site experience advantageous)
- Proven competence in the above listed duties
- A relevant qualification in the IT field
Remuneration: $44.64 casual base plus $4.46 hourly bonus paid on all hours worked
Please note: the $49.10 advertised rate is $44.64 (based on a 42 hour week Monday - Friday) and the hourly bonus which is a temporary incentive. Please call our office for more information
