Our company is a well established Commercial Furniture manufacturer and supplier, based in Queensland and New South Wales. The company supplies products to a number of sectors such as Government, education, health, corporate and hospitality. We are seeking a result driven sales professional with skills in building sustainable relationships and achieving targets.
You will be developing relationships with key decision makers across architectural & design firms and other specifiers to achieve product specifications, whilst ensuring group sales targets are achieved. The position will look to educate specifiers on both new and existing products, while also providing technical support and design ideas with the assistance from the company’s in-house design team. Experience within the Commercial Furniture industry is desirable but not necessary.
The successful applicant will be someone who has/is:
- Total client focus, with the enthusiasm and the ability to close sales whilst maintaining profits and KPIs.
- Proven sales experience.
- Strong Excel and Word skills.
- Detail orientated with high level of accuracy.
- Strong and proven abilities to align in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with exceptional time management, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Flexible, approachable, trustworthy, self confident, well presented, non-confrontational and energetic.
- Ability to work autonomously and as directed by senior management.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining new clients.
- Developing and servicing the Architect and Designer/Specifier sector.
- Liaising and servicing existing client relationships.
- Achieving specific sales targets.
- Prospecting and tendering on current and new opportunities, as well as;
- Recognising new potential markets.
