Job Description
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing and delivering Learning and Development solutions to meet overall organisational training requirements.
Primary accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assessing Learning and Development needs against contract and compliance requirements
- Developing and implementing an organisation wide Learning and Development strategy
- Designing training solutions in consultation with directorate, functional and line management
- Developing learning outcomes and measures
- Training delivery
- Monitoring return on investment on training programmes and activities
- Coordinating the delivery and logistics of training across multiple sites
- Building and maintaining relationships with training providers
- Providing advice in relation to Learning and Development, including policies, programme and practices
The skills required for the Specialist to demonstrate success within their role:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in organisational development, human resources or similar
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within HR/Learning and Development, with a focus on analysis and Development of programmes
- In-depth knowledge of adult Learning and Development best practice
- Wider understanding of organisational business drivers
- Extensive experience in the creation and delivery of face-to-face and eLearning programs
- Experience in the creation of on-the job assessment tools
- Proven ability to develop and deliver L&D solutions
- Knowledge of HR organisational policies and procedures
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Clear National Criminal History Check
- Unrestricted driver's licence
- Eligibility to work in Australia
