There will also be opportunity to keep up to on your discipline by undertaking professional development activities to further your knowledge and skills to help create the nurses of tomorrow. Learning Facilitators will be teaching the Bachelor of Nursing Students.Day-to-day accountabilities:Delivery and teaching of the Nursing Program content utilising flexible learning modes to accommodate student needs ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworksMentor students to understand and utilise the Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to NursingUtilise learning technology effectively and embed in design and deliveryEngage in student centred learning and teaching practices and maintaining an active and positive education experienceEngage in a model best practice in applying pedagogical principles, instructional strategies, and communication strategies appropriate to the learners.Provide on-going assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks​This is a permanent role Monday – Friday based at our Brisbane Campus.To view Job DescriptionWho you are?To be successful in these positions you will have:Experience in education/training and assessmentUnderstanding of pedagogical and/or adult learning principles relevant to the student cohort being taught.Masters qualification in nursingCurrent Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRASound understanding of current scholarship and/or professional practice in the discipline that is being taughtWhy join us?Bold, modern and agile, we’re Australia’s fastest-growing university, going from 164 students in 2014 to 40,000+ alumni across 115+ countries and 2000+ staff today.
