Our leading Finance practice group is looking for a proactive Legal Assistant with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join them on a full-time basis working 9:00 am to 5:15 pm Monday to Friday.
In this role you will play a pivotal role by supporting highly regarded Partner Andrew Booth and team of senior lawyers.
Key responsibilities:
Your day-to-day will involve, however, not be limited to:
- Managing billing processes for your direct team including clients with specific and more complex billing and administration requirements.
- Managing Partners' internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management.
- Assisting with meeting preparation.
- Coaching and mentoring team Administrative Assistants.
- Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
Skills & experience:
You will be an experienced Secretary with a passion for working collaboratively within a team, a proactive approach to delivering your work and strong attention to detail.
You will also have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary within professional services.
- Previous billing experience is essential.
- Previous matter management experience is essential.
- Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
