SalaryDue to continued growth our client based in Welshpool require an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Officer to join their team! This is a Monday to Friday temporary role with a very high chance of becoming permanent for the right person!
Your Duties:
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Monitor and improve efficiency and work practices
- Liase with product and transport providers
- Ensure the receiving and dispatching of incoming and outgoing stock to and from the warehouse are completed in a timely matter
- Liasing with freight and courier companies for inbound and outbound bookings
- Identify conflicts of interest and manage them accordingly
- Manage quantities of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Reviewing stock availability
- Informing sales team about prices, shipping dates, and anticipated delays
- Liasing with project managers, sales staff, warehouse, or delivery parties to trace or accelerate shipments
- Raise Sales Orders
You must have the below:
- A high school certificate or TAFE Equivalent
- Prior work experience in a similar field is require
- Inventory Management Skills
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Understanding of Generic Warehouse
