Do you want to make an impact and be part of a fun collaborative team? If so, this is an amazing opportunity for you! Reporting to the Financial Controller this role is an integral part of the Finance team where you will take ownership end to end of our expense accounts.
About the role:
- Owning end to end our JV financials (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement) including monthly management reports and providing insights into performance for quarterly board packs.
- Owning the monthly results for the Corporate P&L and balance sheet including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Owning and maintaining the property register involving engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure records and schedules are up to date and accurate as possible.
- Maintenance of the electricity portal for all accounts.
- Responsible for monthly non-revenue invoicing and ensuring it is reflective of current contractual agreements.
- Processing journals and balance sheet reconciliations for relevant areas of ownership.
- Deep dives on expense analytics for relevant accounts, providing insights and highlighting areas of risk in meeting budget or forecasts.
- Approving invoices for operating expenses.
- Assisting with annual budgets, tax compliance and ad hoc projects as required.
- Coordination of our annual Insurance questionnaire.
About you:
- Highly analytical and interested in telling the story behind the numbers.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing tasks.
- Relevant degree and CPA or CA qualification or working towards.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
