Due to a team member taking parental leave, we have a 12-month secondment opportunity available to join the Regulatory Risk team in a varied role with plenty of scope to own, and to make an impact, across a number of areas and initiatives.What you’ll do
- Maintain the end-to-end Regulatory Risk framework including ongoing refinements.
- Track regulatory commitments.
- Develop an effective reporting strategy tapping into different sources of internal and external data. Develop insights and forward looking POVs.
- Draw themes across multiples sources risk reporting to identify trends for review and prioritisation.
- Develop and maintain a library of useful guidance, regulatory information and other external POVs.
- Partner with internal and external SMEs to delivery targeted learning/briefing sessions on regulatory topics. Produce informative collateral/newsletters as required.
- Coordinate regulatory risk reporting to the Board and Committees and develop useful dashboards providing a holistic and overarching view across regulatory risk portfolios.
- Act as a conduit between the regulatory relationship portfolios and the regulatory change portfolio, leveraging common data and optimising the operating model.
- Experience in a compliance, regulatory, legal or risk function in financial services
- Ability to manage high priority items in pressured environments.
- Analytical skills – ability to proactively identify and diagnose.
- Ease and skill building relationships and influencing stakeholders across all levels of management (both internally and externally)
- Experience developing frameworks, drafting policies, procedures, and developing and implementing processes and systems.
- Experience in connecting qualitative/subjective data sources to themes and insights
- Proven experience in creating and reporting high quality management information.
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint, Tableau or similar.
- A sound understanding of ING’s business activities and processes as well as someone who keeps abreast of industry threats, trends and issues in an increasingly complex environment.
