About the role
As the Underground Mine Manager, you will have the opportunity lead a team to safely deliver production from our underground mines at 1.0Mtpa and manage associated infrastructure project to support its safe delivery. Your key deliverables will be:
- Developing an excellent safety culture within the operations team
- Co-coordinating training and development, ensuring safety compliance and career opportunities for your team.
- Leading your team to achieve the safe, efficient and cost-effective underground mine production.
- Managing your team to complete the remaining infrastructure projects, developing strong relationships with your key business partners to deliver your budget.
- Building and maintaining effective internal working relationships to support the operational teams to ensure financial outcomes are achieved.
About you
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency and a passion for developing engaged teams with excellent safety culture.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, supporting our ‘One Mungari' approach.
- A demonstrated ability to lead engaged, effective mine production teams.
- Experience managing large scale Underground Mining projects, seismic environment experience is desirable.
