Club Helensvale, located on the northern end of the Gold Coast in one of Australia’s fastest growing areas, has just completed stage two of a $30 million dollar, four stage renovation that will create Queensland’s largest and most modern Lawn Bowls complex. With 20,000 social members and 500 bowling members, Club Helensvale is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to round out their marketing team.
Club Helensvale are excited to develop an early-career professional and build on their marketing skills through working on a variety of tasks both creative and administrative. This role is also suitable for a former marketing manager or assistant wanting reduced hours or a university student requiring flexible work-days around their schedules. Some flexibility around your life commitments can be offered for the ideal applicant.
You will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns and events to promote the brand and increase patronage to the club. The Marketing Assistant will create and maintain all promotional material and have the freedom to be innovative with all Club Helensvale’s specials, events and promotions. Communication and organisation are key to be successful in this role.
The successful applicant will be assisting in running the day-to-day operations of our busy marketing department including our socials, content creation and execution across multiple platforms, events, tradeshows and other creative and administrative tasks as they arise.

- Proficient in managing a range of social media platforms as well as web platform Word Press
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms from beginning to end.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines whilst effortlessly multi-tasking.
- Confidence working closely with key stakeholders and department heads
- Ability to occasionally work on a weekend or evening
