What’s the job? 
The Marketing Manager plays a vital role in defining strategic direction, developing and executing campaigns, marketing programs and events which help drive enrolments into our vertically-focused courses. They work closely with the Senior Marketing Managers, media and creative agencies, college, staff, students, alumni, internal stakeholders and external suppliers.  

This role requires understanding and exposure of the entire marketing mix, including market insight, market segmentation, planning and delivery of marketing campaigns in digital, advertising, direct marketing, social media, PR, experiential, publications and events.   
 

Day-to-day accountabilities: 

  • Develop strategies and programs to achieve the lead, applications, new enrolments targets and increase brand awareness  
  • Use sales and market data to inform strategic direction  
  • Use market insight to identify areas of potential growth and new customer acquisition  
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in digital, advertising, direct marketing, social media, PR, experiential, publications and events  
  • Drive vertical direction for the website, social media, EDM and SMS direct channels, plus sales tools and Course Information Sheets and guides   
  • Ownership of knowledge about products, consumer and competition for the respective vertical  
  • Develop and execute marketing plan for the products  
  • Analyse and report product and media performance and provide subsequent optimisation recommendations 

This is a maternity leave cover role until end February 2025 (fixed term contract) which can be based in Melbourne or Sydney. 

Who you are? 

To be successful in this role, you will have:  

  • Experience in developing strategies and executing across the entire marketing mix including marketing planning, segmentation, campaign execution, events, online, direct marketing, social media, and PR.  
  • Experience in developing strategies based on market insight and competitive analysis  
  • Experience in planning and rolling out social media campaigns  
  • Experience of marketing automation, CMS and CRM  
  • Tertiary qualifications essential, education marketing experience desirable  
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovation • High level of attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Resilient with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently  
  • Ability to self-manage workload and deliver to deadlines
