Motorcycling Australia (MA) is looking for a motivated Marketing Manager with the broad range of skills required to develop the MA brand, strengthen is marketing and communications platforms, while driving the growth of its products for its members, officials and enthusiasts alike.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated brand strategy for Motorcycling Australia and MA promoted championships.
- Develop and implement a promotional plan for Motorcycling Australia and MA promoted championships through a variety of mediums including TV, radio, social media, promotional events etc.
- Identify strategic partnerships and grant opportunities to generate revenue and grow the commercial sustainability of Motorcycling Australia and MA promoted championships.
- Develop a robust digital plan with key focus on Motorcycling Australia and online engagement with MA promoted championships.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure that both the brand and brand values are delivered at each touchpoint.
- Manage new and existing sponsorships for MA promoted championships, national events and development projects.
- Generate revenue through state and council grants.
- Complete post event reports including the media and economic impact for key projects.
- Data analytics around the brand and events.
- Management of all third-party contractors and agencies associated with key marketing deliverables.
- Manage eCommerce opportunities.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION
General
- Formulate research parameters to identify industry and market trends.
- Manage budgets in alignment with departmental work plans.
- Manage the accounting related to Sponsorship and Grant application deliverables.
- Ensure MA Branding is used as per guidelines for all National Championship activities.
- Attend key national events to manage event branding and drive product exposure.
- Duties as directed.
Public Relations
- Work with the media team to ensure all media and communications assets and core messaging align with marketing plans.
- Work with the media team to ensure sure media and communications assets meet defined championship branding guidelines.
- Plan, manage and deliver promotional activations in line with branding and strategic guidelines.
- Manage merchandise opportunities across MA and its commercial assets.
- Where appropriate coordinate synergy across national and state activations.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualified (bachelor’s in marketing or business)
- Demonstrated experience in sports, events and/or automotive industries
- Experience in generating sponsorship and managing relationships with stakeholders both in governmental, public and private sector.
- Ability to build and execute brand strategy in line with values and vision.
- Strategic planning with strong project management skills
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrates strategic capability but can be operational and delivery focussed.
