Mechanical Engineer-Product Design

Do you love solving problems with mechanics and bringing water-based products to life? We're searching for a passionate Mechanical Engineer (3 years experience) to join our team, designing and developing high-performance pumps, filters, chlorinators and equipment for the Australian pool and spa industry.

Working alongside more seasoned engineers, you will be responsible for the following:

• Learn to lead: Conceptualize, design, and develop cutting-edge mechanical components and systems for new and existing products.
• Collaborate to integrate: Collaborate seamlessly with electrical, software, and other engineering teams and product marketing teams in Australia and Malaysia to ensure your designs work as intended
• CAD your way to excellence: Breathe life into your ideas using CAD software like Creo or Onshape, crafting detailed 3D models and simulations.
• Analyze like a pro: Run stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to optimize designs and ensure peak performance.
• Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3: Plan and execute rigorous testing procedures to validate product performance and reliability.
• Failure investigator: Get to the bottom of product issues with your analytical skills, working with teams to implement corrective actions and design improvements.
• Document everything: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of design processes, testing results, and project milestones.
• Communicate with clarity: Explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (warranty, product marketing, end-users) with confidence and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical product engineering, ideally within the pool and filtration industry.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Creo, Onshape) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of pump design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
