The Hills Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist, with exceptional organisational and outstanding customer service skills.
To be successful, you must have a friendly, professional and courteous manner and be able to work both in a team and autonomously. You would be working as a team with six general practitioners, five other receptionists along with two Practice managers.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a person with:
- a high level of service skills in a professional environment
- excellent personal presentation, customer service and telephone skills
- the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior Medical Receptionist experience required
- Knowledge of Medical software essential, Pracsoft or Best Practice an advantage.
About the role
- Best Practice Software
- Managing patient enquiries
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Clerical duties including scanning (paperless office) as well as processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Account transactions for patient visits using Electronic claiming (Tyro) for Medicare and private accounts
- Making further patient appointments with other specialists as required by Doctor.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
