Due to expansion our long term practice is looking to increase its Medical Reception team. This is a casual position with view to permanent part time for the right person, that will offer approximately 20-25 rostered hours per week which range from in addition to a rotating Saturday roster. In addition to this roster, this position requires flexibility to cover sick and annual leave of other staff.
You will be a professional and friendly representative of our clinic, responsible for maintaining our commitment to quality care and customer service.
This role will involve assisting patients both over the phone and face to face, supporting the practice GP’s and other clinical staff, as well as various administrative tasks related to patient care. This is a very fast paced environment so you will need to be able to work under pressure. You will need to be able to follow direction, adhere to policy and procedures, and have strong team working skills. You will need to be able to learn quickly, and have a "can do" attitude.
Key requirements for the position:
- Medical reception experience highly regarded
- Previous experience in a customer service environment essential
- Exceptional computer skills essential
- Accurate data entry skills and competence in Microsoft Office or similar.
- An ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
- A warm and professional manner and excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Be reliable, well presented and able to represent the clinic in a professional manner at all times
The hours:
- Monday 12.00 - 5.30
- Tuesday (not a perm shift yet) 8.30 - 12.30
- Wednesday 1.30 - 7pm
- Thursday 8.30 - 2.00
- Friday 7.30 - 1.00
- Saturday - rotating Roster 8.30 - 1.00
