Essential Criteria
- Prior Medical Secretary experience with a Medical Specialist essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical Administration/Reception
- Genie experience essential
- Great time management & organisational skills
- Precise attention to detail with data entry
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- High level of integrity and empathy towards patients needs
- Ability to work independently with initiative and as a team member
- Excellent verbal communication skills, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong computer skills and typing ability
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Administration support during clinics, including greeting patients, processing payments
- Managing incoming calls, booking appointments, processing incoming referrals
- Reception duties including running clinics, theatre bookings and billing
- Liaising and corresponding with patients, GP's and other Specialists
- Diary management including processing referrals and booking appointments/theatre
- Email and correspondence management
- At least 2 years previous experience as a Specialist Medical Receptionist essential
- Proficient computer skills with Genie – non-negotiable
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally
- High level attention to detail
