The successful candidate will work across consulting rooms in Brighton, East Melbourne and Carlton.
Qualifications and experience
- Past medical reception experience
- Experience with medical software especially Gentu
- Highly motivated and good organisational skills
Tasks and responsibilities
- Greeting patients and making them feel welcome and heard
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Liaising with hospitals, GP's and other specialists
- Advising patients of billing policies
- Responding to emails in a timely fashion
- Quoting and Billing patients
- Answering all telephone calls
- Scanning
- Booking theatre sessions
- General everyday administration work
- Flexibility to work from home some sessions
- No weekend work
- 15hrs week with scope to increase to more
