Form of workWe are a family General Practice located in Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast.
We are searching for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing, friendly team.
The position will commence on a casual basis with a regular patterns of rostered hours. Permanent part time employment is an option after the qualifying period. The shifts are across a variety of hours that include weekdays and some Saturdays.
Our Reception staff members manage the day to day operations of the clinic and out team members are required to be punctual, reliable and responsible.
Medical Receptionist Roles Include:
- Providing our patients a high level of customer service including understanding & empathy.
- Opening & closing the clinic as per set procedures.
- Assisting GP's, Allied Health Professionals & Nurses
- Processing of billing & patient accounts.
- Managing patient bookings, attending to patient enquiries & requests.
- Managing correspondence including faxes, mail, emails, scanning and recalls.
- Knowledge of best Practice Software.
The successful candidate will be required to be reliable & flexible with the ability to cover staff leave and absence when required.
The successful candidate should also have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and time effectively without direct supervision at all times.
