AddressIn Hand Plastic Surgery is a single surgeon practice in Belair, working out of a purpose developed consulting suite at Blackwood Hospital (Specialist Clinics at Blackwood Hospital). We are seeking a receptionist who will bring their skills and experience to provide great administrative care and to support our Practice Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager and Director (Surgeon) to deliver the best in surgical care to our patients.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Provide reception duties in a very busy practice
- Manage appointments
- Answer telephone promptly and professionally
- Theatre bookings and liaise with hospitals, assistants and anaesthetic groups
- Answer emails in a prompt and professional manner
- Support the Practice Manager with delegated tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Outstanding customer service with empathy for patients and their families
- Motivated and well organised
- Strong commitment to patient privacy
- Previous Medical Receptionist experience an advantage
