JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced, professional Medical Secretary to work in an established gynaecology and fertility specialist practice at Hollywood Medical Centre. The successful candidate will provide high quality service and care to our patients. The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of secretarial duties.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Handling email and telephone enquires
- Preparation and running busy patient clinics, including expediting patient’s investigations with imaging and pathology providers
- Surgery bookings and estimates
- Processing patient billing and receipting
- Communicating with other health professionals and hospitals
- General Administration
Selection Criteria
- Strong general computing skills and experience using Genie (Magentus)
- Well developed time management and organisation skills
- Excellent people skills and relate well to patients, staff and other health professional skills.
- Attention to detail and a pride in your work is essential
- Be able to work autonomously, but also be able to liaise effectively with other staff.
General Information
- Part time ideally Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 6pm.
- Be able to provide cover for holiday and sick leave when the other staff member is unavailable
- A competitive salary of $30-$34 hour is offered.
