Neurosurgical practice looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to be part of the practice and team's growth. The successful candidate will be working alongside another secretary to assist one Neurosurgeon.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent personal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse range of people
- Theatre booking experience essential
- Experience with medical software (experience with Gentu preferrable)
- Moderate level of word processing skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail
Tasks & responsibilities
- Typing / Dictation
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Appointment scheduling
- Ensuring effective communication with patients
- Liaise with hospital staff, assistants and third parties required for theatre procedures
- Assisting with billing related tasks
- Meet and greet during consulting sessions
