Mining Sales Representative

The Role:

You will be working alongside the Sales Coordinator/Manager and a team of Mining Sales Representatives. Time each week will be spent on the road and at our office in Mona Vale.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for generating new business through identifying growth markets and producing a strategic plan for increasing revenue. You will also look after a database of current customers.

You will need to fully understand your customers' challenges in order to accurately find solutions for their tooling needs.

The Candidate: 

This is an exciting role for an ambitious person looking for a career in sales within the mining/or geotechnical (site investigation) industry.

•    Excellent knowledge of the exploration and drilling industry (desirable)
•    Familiarity with the products you would be selling i.e. drill rods, drill bits/consumables etc (essential)
•    Experience working within a sales environment  (desirable but not essential, willing to learn and be trained)
•    Ability to travel and have a degree of flexibility with working hours to meet customers' needs (essential)
•    Full driving licence (essential)
•    Ability to identify opportunities and generate business
•    Ability to develop and maintain a database of clients
•    Excellent customer service skills and a 'can do' attitude
•    Good organisational skills
•    Computer literate.
