We are hiring the NSW government organisation for a Mobile Device Support Officer. The position is an initial six-month contract with high potential of a contract extension. The position is based in parramatta.
Your new role
In this role you will be reporting to the Product Manager. The role will be responsible for supporting and implementing technologies which include mobile smartphones, tablets and data SIM cards to maintain levels of mobility support throughout the business.
This role will provide support to ensure the mobile smartphone and all mobile-phone peripheral technologies are in line with business Architecture.
Key duties include
- Support mobile devices, including Mobile Phones, Tablets and Data SIM Cards.
- Log all enquiries and jobs in a Ticketing System to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Assist in the development of training and support infrastructure capability to ensure ongoing solution support.
- Arrange service activations and deactivations for all Mobile Phones and Data SIM Cards across the organisation as a central point of contact with mobile providers.
- Liaise with other business units and projects within and external to the business to ensure compatibility and future proofing technologies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated and direct experience in mobile technology rollout and transfer including re-enrolment and factory reset of smartphone devices
- Proven experience at an appropriate level in ICT projects.
- Demonstrated experience in Mobile Technologies covering all Mobile Smartphones.
- Demonstrated ability with Airwatch Mobile Device Management Systems
- Demonstrated understanding and ability with Google Account creation.
- You need to be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident/New Zealand Citizen
