We are currently looking for a highly motivated, collaborative Mobilisation & Recruitment Coordinator to join our friendly team based in Balcatta.
The Role
This role will suit someone familiar with recruitment, mining and construction mobilisation processes.
The Mobilisation & Recruitment Coordinator will play a pivotal role to ensure we are fully manned across multiple work locations and clients. Due to the nature of this role and the support we offer our clients, you will be able to adapt to a changing work environment in a calm and methodical manner. With so many variables in this role, you can be guaranteed no two days will be the same.
You will often be the first point of contact for personnel and key stakeholders and your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport is crucial for this role.
About the role – you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Coordinate personnel following site-specific mobilisation processes, including flight and travel arrangements using client software;
- Liaise with clients and Project Managers for manning requirements;
- Source and screen potential candidates to ensure all pre-employment requirements meet SETS and client standards;
- Maintain rosters and personnel records in conjunction with our HR/Payroll team and clients;
- Efficiently manage resourcing changes and reallocation of personnel to avoid project delays;
- Liaise and coordinate site inductions as required;
- Issue and order new personnel PPE and maintain accurate stock records; and
- Providing quotes, raising invoices and obtaining client purchase orders.
Our new team member will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum 2+ years previous mobilisation experience is essential;
- Mining and/or construction industry experience and previous recruitment experience is essential;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience with Ariba, Workflow, Sino1, ERMS and MYOB Advanced will be highly regarded;
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated and able to provide prompt, friendly and timely feedback to stakeholders and our team;
- Able to work independently and effectively communicate in a cohesive team environment; and
- Be highly organised, with the ability to think on your feet, prioritise changing work demands and maintain confidentiality.
