Based at the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, this Multi-hotel Executive role forms part of our Reservations team which supports several hotels across Tasmania and Victoria. With more hotels opening in the near future, it is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and develop their skills and knowledge of reservations in a multi-hotel environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservations types in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
• Possess strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team.
• Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
• Co-ordinate group reservations.
• Ensure arrivals list is checked on a daily basis to displaying correct rate and market codes.
• Ensure accurate data is recorded for all reservations.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• An energetic, team-focused and can-do attitude.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage time and multi-task.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• An outcome driven approach to performance and results.
• A natural ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships.
• Knowledge and experience using Opera advantageous.
