Multipole Technical Sales Executive – Goldspar Australia Pty Ltd


Goldspar Australia is a leading and innovative designer and manufacturer of tubular aluminium products including light poles, flag poles and sporting posts. We require a Sydney based Sales Executive to assist the sales and marketing team to further develop and grow our target markets in Australia and around the world.
Goldspar Australia is based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney and offering products Australia wide and internationally, the company has been established for over 40 years and is the market leader in its field.
This role will suit a proactive self-starter and report to the Executive Manager Sales and Marketing. After a three-month period, this role will require some out of the office sales activities with prospects and clients. Training in all attributes of our products and their manufacture will be provided during the first 3 months.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have electrical experience, dealt with lighting specifiers and wholesalers as an electrician or as engineer. This role involves daily interaction with lighting companies, local government, lighting engineers and structural engineers. The ability to understand detailed lighting drawings and translate this information into a complete solution with the optimum light pole and requested accessories is required.


  • As a technical Sales Executive your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    Promoting Multipole products in the market and generating new prospects.

    Preparation and follow up of quotations and tender responses Australia wide.

    Delivering presentations to lighting professionals, managers and decision makers.

    Understanding customers’ requirements and participation to providing solutions.

    Regular networking at selective industry functions, conferences and trade shows.

    Maintaining and building relationships with your customers and specifiers alike.

    Assisting in the preparation of marketing collateral including web site updates.

    Reporting on weekly sales activities and achieving Key Performance Indicators.

    Working with the company’s industrial designers and production team members.


  • To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate:

    Demonstrated experience and references in relevant sales or business development roles.

    Some past experience in dealing with professional consultants and government departments.

    Know Lighting Designers, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects that can specify our light poles.

    Competent presentation, communication and networking skills and past trade show experience.

    Professional and accurate writing and numeracy skills to produce tender proposals and quotes.

    Motivated to learn a diverse product set. The will to succeed and close deals in a timely manner.

    Clean driver’s licence and access to a reliable car.
